A heavy snowfall blankets Bascom Hill and Bascom Hall at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during a cold winter night on Feb. 15, 2006. The bright, out-of-focus spots in the sky are the result of blue-gelled light from an on-camera flash reflecting off snowflakes falling in the foreground.
