A group of two-day-old New Hampshire-Leghorn chicks enjoy the warmth of a heat lamp at the Poultry Research Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during a chllly winter day on Feb. 4, 2005. The facility incubates an average of 30 eggs per week for use in various agricultural feed studies and research programs on campus, and periodically supplies chicks to regional K-12 grade school programs.
