Rothschild, an expert in social marketing and emeritus professor in the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin, led an effort to develop an alternative ride program targeting bar patrons. The program, piloted in several Wisconsin communities, aims to change social behavior and reduce instances of drunk driving by offering patrons stylish, low-cost rides to, from and in between local taverns.
